your- a possessive pronoun meaning it belongs to you.

you’re- A contraction of “you are.”

If you can switch the word out with “you are,” then you know it’s “you’re.” If it doesn’t make sense, then it has to be “your.”

You left your book in your desk.
You’re in big trouble.
